Austin and Jocelyn’s story began at one of Toronto’s oldest bars, where Jocelyn made the first move and Austin, very wisely, did not blow it. What started as a brief introduction quickly turned into a first date, then a few more, and soon became something neither of them wanted to step away from. Their first night as an ‘official’ couple started at Muskoka Lakes, where they realized just how many mutual friends they shared. It still surprises them how their paths never crossed before.From the beginning, their relationship has been built around shared values, and time together - wherever life takes them. Winters are spent skiing, summers are for being on the water, and a shared history in Muskoka quickly became one of the places that feels most like home. Weekends at the cottage, boat days, pickleball parties, and dockside evenings are some of their favourite memories, which makes celebrating their wedding in Muskoka especially meaningful.Their shared love for travel and adventure has taken them everywhere from spontaneous trips throughout the US, to skiing through the mountains of Europe. No matter where they go, they’ve always been happiest navigating life together. Their family wouldn’t be complete without their cat, Cheddar, who always keeps things entertaining and has made it very clear that he is in charge of the household.This August 15th marks the continuation of a lifetime of new destinations, experiences, and stories yet to discover. They are incredibly grateful to celebrate this next chapter of life, surrounded by the people they love most.

The iconic Muskoka bakery - Abbey’s Bakehouse - is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. We’ve arranged a special discount for our wedding guests - just mention you’re with the Nullmeyer-Cook Wedding!

Enjoy a yoga class - on us! Kristen’s team will be running a private class for our wedding guests at 12pm, in the boathouse. No need to sign up - just show up ready to yoga! Mats will be provided. It is an 8 minute walk from the hotel, and located right next to Abbey’s!
